2008! Kate

“An early 2005 episode [of "West Wing"], “King Corn,” raised ethanol trashing to an entirely new level. In this episode, all of the presidential candidates, liberals as well as conservatives and Democrats as well as Republicans, strongly object to ethanol, although in the end all but one ends up “pandering” to Iowa’s caucus voters by endorsing the fuel.”

“U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell has been front and center in opening up avenues to produce and sell ethanol made from wheat straw and other non-corn biowaste. …cellulosic biomass will represent a greenhouse emissions reduction …about seven times the air quality benefits of starch or corn-based ethanol.”—-”Conscious Choice

“The roughly 543 million gallons of ethanol Nebraska’s plants were producing annually in 2006 trailed only Illinois’ 780 million gallons and Iowa’s 1.1 billion gallons, according to the trade group Renewable Fuels Association.”–Nebraska could become #2 ethanol state

So forget that Barack Obama can’t keep his stories straight from year to year –
Not that he was in the United States Congress at the time but he feels compelled to put himself in that small elite against the war in Iraq crowd, you know, the leaders of the few in Congress who did say “No,” the ones who now run dark on Presidential ’08’s trail; Ron Paul and Dennis J. Kucinich.

“[Obama's] speech itself took Bush to task for lying about the reasons for war and for invading and occupying “without enough troops to win the war, secure the peace, and earn the respect of the world.” In other words, Obama, the great liberal hope, thinks that Bush should have sent more troops–and that the Democrats are more capable of seeing the war on Iraq through to victory.”–August 3, 2004, Counterpunch

Barack Obama’s groping inconsistencies in how he feels about Reagan:
Reagan this
“…I think Ronald Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not and in a way that Bill Clinton did not. He put us on a fundamentally different path because the country was ready for it. They felt like with all the excesses of the 60s and the 70s and government had grown and grown but there wasn’t much sense of accountability in terms of how it was operating. I think he tapped into what people were already feeling. Which is we want clarity, we want optimism, we want a return to that sense of dynamism and entrepreneurship that had been missing.”–Obama compares himself to Reagan, 1/16/2008
Reagan that
“In his book, [Barack Obama] attacks Ronald Reagan, the modern leader whom Republicans most revere. Obama sneers at “his John Wayne, Father Knows Best pose, his policy by anecdote, and his gratuitous assaults on the poor.”–“George W. Obama.”

Within Barack Obama’s current platform there are far far too many ripoffs from George W. Bush’s 2000 campaign. See “George W. Obama.”

Hey, the man is on top of his crop! Because after all is said and done, when the lights go out each night, its all about how our states divide us.

Why not include Republicans in the Authenic Point? Duh, Not remorseful nor authentic.

Who jumped off this week from the Authentic Point?

former President Bill Clinton:

Authentic Point:
the big Fairy Tale

The jumping point: Al Sharkton and his devisive team

Clinton: Obama camp twists comments on race

Authentic Point rings true:
Barack Obama is a Big Head Celebrity who promises hope and who gives BIG Money media Hope and they give him BIG Money in return. His voting record and his resume and even the concentration of his BIG Money Funding just don’t ring presidential ‘08 democratic party’s chimes.

His Iowa win was because he votes BIG for ethanol; he represents a state with Energy Hopes similar to those of Iowa. This truth is backed up by second place winner, John Edwards. He wants to increase ethanol production in the U.S. to the tune of double digit billions; 65 Billion Gallons of Ethanol a Year by 2025. Hillary doesn’t vote for ethanol nor does she vote for big oil industry incentives. Ethanol, biofuels is BIG business, and don’t you forget that folks. Don’t you love how BIG business media spun it into something else? see “How strong the environmental voice for the Democratic Party?”

The jump off the mountain: Ah, I can’t believe he did that. Backed up at the point by nonsense speaking people, he said “I think Obama Barack would make a great President.” Oh Bill, Bill, why did you do that? Go ahead jump off or see Roseanne cause you got to get TUFF.

Roseanne Barr:

Authentic Point:

The jumping point:

She experienced remorse somehow, but she didn’t jump. She was authentic again. She apologized and said she didn’t want people to think that she didn’t like Oprah or Obama. Far out! Someone who sticks with their authenticity. She did not back out on her authenticity. ” » POLITICAL ROUND UP: KERRY ENDORSES OBAMA / ROSEANNE SOUNDS OFF

Authentic Point rings true:

“Closeted Republican.” Truer and truer, does Barack Obama even have remorse? Have you ever heard him apologize to Hillary or any of the other candidates he or his campaign has slung at. I have emails from his campaign accusing her of all sorts of things. I’ll be more than happy to publish them if need be. And as for Oprah, she has an economically based identity because she recommends products for her adoring audience to consume. I think you can’t mix that salesmanship with politics unless you are saying that your candidate is a product and can be bought. Oh a million pieces, how it does so shatter, along with credibility.

The jump off the mountain:
Roseanne didn’t jump. I think Roseanne needs to give Authentic Point coaching to Bill and quick.

Ethanol bills voted on in the Senate were the Achilles Heel for Hill.

“current ethanol production is “a long way from helping us deal with our gas problems. We need to be moving on a much faster track.”–Hillary Clinton

On the other hand, Obama represents the ethanol producing state of Illinois (like Iowa) and was compelled to vote on bills in their favor.

On the 2005 energy debate:

“Obama backed an increase in vehicle fuel-efficiency standards, which Clinton opposed. Clinton voted against the energy bill itself because it was stuffed with oil industry incentives. But Obama supported the legislation because it included language that would double ethanol demand by 2012.” — Washington Post, “Clinton Obama Differences Clear
